The fun starts on 24 October, so there’s no need to wait until Halloween itself on the 31st. Drop by the castle ghost walk, head out for a ride or let the children dance in Läppe. Here’s what’s happening in and around Vingåker.

Horses and ghost trails

First up is Vingåkers Ryttarförening at Vårnäs on 24 October at 12:00. Children aged four and over can hunt for the Vårnäs treasure on a ride lasting about 45 minutes. Every horse has a handler, and costumes are welcome. It costs SEK 250. Book at info@vingakersrf.se.

On 27 October, head to Högsjö for a ghost walk. Set off from Sportstugan at Gamla IP between 18:30 and 19:30. The trail is about 1.6 kilometres long and suits school-age children with an adult. The ground is uneven. The SEK 30 admission also includes a hot dog and a soft drink afterwards. No booking needed.

A disco in Läppe and Halloween at Kandyz

On 30 October from 17:30 to 19:30, Kreativa Läppe hosts a Halloween disco at Bussgaraget. Entry is SEK 20, and the kiosk sells sweets, snacks, drinks and coffee for the adults. Swish or cash both work. Parking is limited, so walk if you live nearby. No advance booking needed.

On Halloween itself, 31 October, Kandyz at Bondegatan 18 throws a party from 16:00 to 19:00. Expect a fortune teller, competitions and a lucky dip, with DACA there too. It’s free and there’s no registration – just drop by.
