Flea markets and second-hand shopping in Vingåker
Central Vingåker, archive photo from 2020. The photo does not show the two second-hand shops.
An odd coffee cup, a piece of furniture with a history or something for your wardrobe. Second-hand shopping makes the search part of the outing. Vingåker has two permanent stops to start with, but choose your day before setting off.
Second Hand on Skolgatan
Second Hand Vingåker occupies an old grocery shop at Skolgatan 5. It sells furniture, household goods and clothes, among other items. Volunteers run the shop, with proceeds supporting relief work including Operation Smile. It is a good stop for anyone who enjoys browsing used items rather than heading straight for the clothing outlet.
DC-Loppis on Fabriksgatan
DC-Loppis at Fabriksgatan 35 offers another reason to shop second-hand. It is part of the municipality’s daily activities service, providing meaningful work for participants. The flea market opened in its new premises in early 2026.
Choose your day
Second Hand Vingåker sells on Saturdays, 10am–1pm. Tuesday and Wednesday are donation days, rather than shopping days. DC-Loppis opens Monday–Friday, 10am–3pm, closing for lunch from noon to 1pm. It may close if participants are unavailable. These are two outings for different days.
Leave the rest of the visit open. Lunch or a stroll through the centre makes an easy next stop. If you are looking for something specific, measurements and a photo on your phone are useful to bring, especially for furniture.
Temporary flea markets also appear in the surrounding countryside during summer. Look in the events calendar for announced dates. Our flea market map helps you find the permanent shops and their addresses.
